I found that my starter had broken and would not turn the engine over. In the morning I called Zips 45th Parallel H-D in Gaylord, Michigan and asked for help. Chuck, the Service Writer, said that he would have a truck and trailer at the motel in 60 minutes. He was a man of his word, so we loaded the bike in the trailer and off we went to Gaylord. It's really comforting to know that an H-D® dealer will out of their way to help a stranded biker. Our trip was great and the meeting of the folks at Zips made it even better. "I had always dreamed of owning a new Harley-Davidson®. After purchasing a used 2002 a few years ago, we started buying H-D® apparel and dressing up the bike. Personal service from Ruth Murphy was awesome and shortly after coming in she’d know our names and likes. Chris and Gwen at parts were more than helpful with stuff I knew nothing about, sending me faxes of the parts and part numbers to ensure I was ordering the correct stuff. While going to a benefit in late July, we dropped off our bike to have a rear tire replaced, when Chuck says you’ll be in and out at a specific time he is right on the money, my biggest problem was getting the bike back until they were satisfied it was cleaned enough. While this was being done I found the bike of my dreams and bought it; a new 2009 Ultra Classic. I would at this time like to thank Mike Zipser, Ron Mason, Tom McDonald and Jennifer Glaser, when they say 'Customer Service is #1' they mean it. There is such a huge difference between ZIPS and other dealerships, and we been in a few of them, they may be a few more miles or hours away but in my opinion they are worth it."

"I purchased a 2006 ElectraGlide Classic at the end of June '06. I had some warranty issues with the bike as far as engine backfiring and performance. Everyone at the dealership was quick to take care of me. the service department work hard to correct the issues I had. Some of my friends say I should have been upset because of my bike being brand new. I work in the machine repair industry and I realize that things sometimes break or don't work right, even brand new things. It is the service of taking care of these problems that makes it O.K. Shawn, in the service department, is an excellent employee. He has taken great care of my bike and of me. The girls, Kristy, and Jen, always greet me by name and with a smile. When I am having my routine service appointments, they are great company while I wait, and keep the coffee going. I have always had good experiences with the dealership in all areas, I have recommended your dealership to others and I know of some that have started shopping there. Keep up the great work."

"I was travelling to the UP from Indiana the weekend of July 7th and stopped in to your Mackinaw City store for a t-shirt for my wife. It was an extremely hot weekend and my wife (a cancer survivor) was unable to make the trip due to the heat. I was helped by Patsy Selin who was VERY helpful and gracious. "Each year approximately 14 or so of my former military friends and I travel to Grayling, MI for our annual re-union. Six of us always ride our bikes (5 Harleys® and 1 Honda). This year's trip seemed to be plagued with problems. Butch's Ultra Classic developed issues with the throttle and mine had a bad back fire issue. Well the motor heads in ZIPS service took very good care of us and we were back on the road in no time at all.
